Can cheese be frozen?

Rating: 93

Cheese can be frozen but there will be changes in texture. Hard cheese will become crumbly. Cheese can be frozen in blocks or grated. Wrap tightly. Cheese, like other high fat products, is susceptible to acquiring flavors from other foods stored in the freezer if they aren't packaged in moisture and vapor-proof materials.
