How do I make soybean "nuts" to eat?

Soybeans can be prepared like one would make deep-fat fried peanuts. First, sort the dry soybeans according to size so the frying time will be consistent. Soak in water in separate containers overnight. Drain and pat dry. Fry in fat heated to 350 degrees F for 6 to 12 minutes depending upon the size of the nuts. Drain on paper towels. If desired, sprinkle with salt while still hot.
