How often does a Presto Canner Tester have to be calibrated?

Presto representatives say that the master gauge on their testers (either the old electric ones or the new air-pump type) should be calibrated each year. If the unit is dropped or jostled, then the unit will need to be calibrated again.
The new air-pump type tester comes in a foam-lined index card box. This box is to be used to mail it to Presto for calibrating.
