What is filled canned milk?

Rating: 40

It is canned milk that has had the butterfat substituted with a vegetable oil. It may be used as an equal substitute for evaporated milk. The flavor of filled milk is different than the flavor of evaporated milk because of the difference in the fat sources. Milot is an example of filled milk.
