For what chemicals do I need a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)?

Material safety data sheets (MSDSs) are required for all hazardous chemicals.  Hazardous chemicals include products, such as bleach, floor cleaners, air fresheners, and the items in a first aid kit.  

Contact your supplier to get the MSDSs.  If the item is purchased at a local store, such as WalMart or Food Lion, request it from them. One can also contact the manufacturer directly.
