 Can the Production Plan be modified?
Yes under certain circumstances. The NC Child Nutrition Program will
allow school districts to use the forms that they have previously used
for this year without prior approval, as many already had them in
place, or in print shops being printed when the protoype was being
finalized. However, in the future, if a district wants to modify a form
in the HACCP Plan or continue to use the form that they modified this
year, then they will need to submit the modified form to the NC
Department of Public Instruction Child Nutrition staff in writing.
The details of this process are being developed by Child Nutrition
staff. When finalized, the process will be shared with all Child
Nutrition Directors.
