What is the correct temperature of water at a handwashing sink?Water should be at least 110 degrees F according to the SC Foodservice Rules. Here are the requirements for lavatory facilities in foodservice operations as they appear in the SC Rules: Hot water generation and distribution systems shall be sufficient to meet the peak hot water demands of at least 140 degrees F throughout the retail food establishment, except handwashing lavatories shall be provided with at least 110 degrees F. |
