Can aspirin be used to can food?

Rating: 0

Several years ago there was a recipe circulating for canning green beans using aspirin. This was suggested as a short cut to proper canning in a pressure canner. Aspirin is not recommended for canning. It does not preserve the products. All low acid food must be processed in a pressure canner.
