Canning -- Miscellaneous

Can frozen foods be thawed and then processed using one of the two home canning methods?

Rating: 100

Sometimes one freezes food because it is the quick thing to do at the time the produce is ready. Then they want to know if they can thaw it and can it later because they need the freezer space for other things. They may can any food for which there is a processing time. However, caution them that since the product has already been frozen and thus subject to some quality changes that undergoing a second food preservation process will result in less than a quality outcome.
