Do I need to place two thermometers in my refrigerator?

Rating: 50

Ideally it is recommended that a thermometer be placed in the back of the refrigerator and near the door. This is so one can monitor the difference in temperature between the two locations. However, this is not a requirement. If only one thermometer is available in the refrigerator, it should be placed in the front of the unit, which is typically the warmest location.
